My Story
I have over 20 years of experience in sales and marketing, which is why I am now a BD Coach, facilitator and consultant to professional services firms.I work primarily with lawyers, accountants, engineers and other professional services consultants.
I enjoy collaborating with teams and individuals to help them to understand the BD process more clearly and to help build and enhance their brands.
Before establishing The BD Ladder, I was the Business Development and Marketing Director at one of the country’s leading law firms, Kensington Swan.
In this role, I was part of the management team that oversaw the firm’s successful combination with the world’s largest law firm, Dentons, and led and managed the successful rebranding of the firm to Dentons Kensington Swan.
I also established a key client program in the NZ arm of a leading Trans-Tasman engineering consultancy. Previously to this, I reinvigorated a key client programme at a Fortune 500 listed engineering consultancy.
Ben has also worked directly for two global accountancy firms in both Auckland and London. I delivered a proposal response which was held up as global best practice across one of these firms’ internal global networks. Ben is very experienced in providing practical sales and marketing advice to those he works with.
